I started at Hayward Adult School in 2004 with very, very little English. Fast Forward to Phonics helped me to greatly improve my reading, writing and math. I progressed a lot more easily and faster than I thought I would.

Before very long, I gained the courage to start using the GED book. On April 18, 2006, my birthday, I received word that I had passed the GED. That was the best birthday present I could have gotten!

It just takes opening the first page and a desire to learn.

Give yourself one more chance.

After many years of frustration trying to learn, I found Fast Forward to Phonics and Mrs. Thompson at the Hayward Adult School. I wish to say "Thank you" to my teacher because she is one in a life time. She always goes out of her way to help. She has a special love for people who need help. I received my GED in 2008.

I say to all of you, "Never give up! You have another chance!"
